Thank you all who came out to Harvest with us! Guests who enjoyed the homemade potato soup asked for the recipe listed below:

To make 5 gallons of potato soup.

Dice 3.5 to 4 gallons new potatoes 3/4”. Add 6 cups chopped onion and 4 cups diced ham. Add four cloves of chopped garlic, one cup of fresh chopped parsley and 12 finely chopped fresh lovage leaves. Substitute 2 cups finally diced celery for lovage leaves if not available. Cover with water 4 to 6 inches above the ingredients. Bring to a boil then add 3 Tablespoons coarsely ground pepper and 1/3 cup kosher salt.  Boil until potatoes are done but still firm enough to hold their shape. Stir in one stick of butter until melted then add 1/2 gallon of heavy cream.
