August 24th Buddy Day
Save at the carnival:
Buy your tickets to ride and your buddy rides FREE ALL DAY on Buddy Day (no coupon required to enjoy Buddy Day at the carnival). Aftershock Rollercoaster included (Buddy must ride in same seat).
August 31st Wristband Day
For $100 Enjoy unlimited carnival rides on Mon, Aug 31st with a Golden Wheel Amusements wristband. 
Wristband Details:
– To maintain value of wristband purchase, Box Office sales will end at 7pm.
– Only redeemable on Monday, August 31; valid 11am – 9pm one day only.
– Wristbands may not be transferred or re-sold. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. One customer per wristband.
– Wristband may not be used for Aftershock Rollercoaster.
August 27th $5 Thursday
Admission to the Fair is just $5 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on $5 Thursday. Must be through the gate by 2 p.m. A donation of two shelf-stable food items is encouraged.
August 28th Kids' Day
Kids 12 and under get FREE admission! A donation of two shelf-stable food items is encouraged.
August 29th Family Day
Kids 12 and under get a $2 discount on Family Day. A donation of two shelf-stable food items is encouraged.
September 6th Military Appreciation Day
All military personnel (active, retired military and veterans) receive admission for just $5 at the Gate. Each service member can bring up to three dependents at the discounted price. To receive the discount, please present valid military ID or proof of service at the gate.
September 7th First Responders' Day
On First Responders’ Day we honor, celebrate and say THANK YOU to our police, firefighters and EMS with $5 admission at the gate to Alaska’s first responders with valid ID.
