With hit singles, albums sold by the tens of millions, and decades of accolades, The Beach Boys remain one of pop music’s most enduring bands. Their legacy is measured not only by chart success, but by their longevity, influence on other artists, and loyal fanbase of longtime listeners and new generations alike.
After landmark moments including the release of Pet Sounds in 1966, the chart-topping Endless Summer in 1974, the success of “Kokomo” in 1988, and their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame that same year, The Beach Boys have continued to tour extensively and share their music with audiences around the world.
In 2012, the band marked its 50th anniversary with a reunion tour featuring the surviving original members and the release of That’s Why God Made the Radio, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts. In 2016, they celebrated the 50th anniversary of “Good Vibrations” with the 50 Years of Good Vibrations tour. More recently, the group was honored with the 2023 CBS tribute special A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys, and in 2024, The Beach Boys documentary premiered on Disney+.
Today, the band is led by Mike Love, who continues the group’s live performance legacy alongside musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, John Wedemeyer and Chris Cron. In addition to his role as frontman, Love co-wrote many of the band’s most memorable songs, including “Surfin’,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me, Rhonda,“ ”California Girls,” “Warmth of the Sun,” “Good Vibrations” and “Kokomo.” In 2025, he was
inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, honoring a career defined by culture-shaping lyrics and enduring melodies
Arrive early to make it through the security scan into the Borealis Theatre, please read our bag policy here. Concert ticket prices do not include Fair admission. Convenience fees apply. Babes-in-arms (2 & under) are admitted for free to the concert; children aged 3 and up must have a concert ticket. There are no refunds or exchange on concert tickets. During the Fair, concert tickets may also be purchased on the fairgrounds at the Borealis Box Office, across from the Borealis Theatre. The ConocoPhillips Borealis Theatre is an open-air theatre; shows take place rain or shine. Both entrance gates open approximately one hour prior to the show. Personal chairs, professional grade cameras, cameras with detachable lenses and recording devices are strictly prohibited. There are 2 entry gates to the theatre; a “wet” gate directly into the alcohol consumption areas and a “dry” gate accessible by all ages. If you enter through the “dry” gate, you may cross into the “wet” area once you’re inside the theatre. To access any area with alcohol consumption, including entering through the “wet” gate, you must be 21 or over and present a valid photo ID, or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and present a valid photo ID.
There are “wet” (alcohol consumption permitted) and “dry” (no alcohol) areas. To enter the “wet” area, you must be aged 21 or older and present a valid photo ID, or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and present a valid photo ID. Wheelchair accessible seating areas are available in both the reserved and lawn areas. Some concerts have chairs in the reserved area. There are no chairs in the lawn area.
