The holidays shine bright at the Alaska State Fairgrounds! 
Pile into the car, turn up the holiday tunes, and take a magical drive through Bright Up the Night — a dazzling display of more than 70 sparkling light installations that bring the Fairgrounds to life with festive cheer.
From twinkling tunnels and glittering trees to larger-than-life holiday scenes, each display adds its own touch of wonder to your evening. Sync your radio to our special holiday station, roll down the windows, and let the spirit of the season surround you — all from the cozy comfort of your vehicle.
Please note the Yuletide Festival is not happening 2026.

Route Map:
Guest will enter on the North end of the fairgrounds (entrance across from gravel pit) and drive from Purple Gate through Green Gate.
Need to Know:
- Entrance into the display is at Purple Gate across from the SBS Sandlot (See map above)
- Purchase a ticket online in advance or at the gate. Tickets prices at the gate are higher.
- Price at the gate; $25 (standard vehicle), $40 (Vans 9+), $75 (buses)
- Each ticket is good for one vehicle, one visit
- We ask that all guests stay in their vehicles for safety reasons.
- This is a family event, please be respectful of people and property.
