Alaska Students Receive $4,250 in Fair Scholarships
Five Alaska high school students will head off to college this fall with some extra funds in their bank accounts, thanks to the Alaska State Fair scholarship fund! The annual Alaska State Fair is going smoke-free in 2016! The Fair’s new smoke-free policy was adopted earlier this year, and will take effect at the 2016 event, to be held August 25 – September 5. “It’s not about the right to smoke but about the right to not have to breathe second-hand smoke.
