Homesteader Games

Step back in time and test your pioneer spirit at the Homesteader Games! Join us in the Woodlot on September 7 at 4:00 PM for an action-packed competition celebrating Alaska’s homesteading heritage.

Contestants will go head-to-head in classic frontier challenges including Axe Throw, Wood Split, Two-Person Cross-Cut Saw, Nail Drive, Husband Holler, and Water Haul. Whether you’re competing for bragging rights or cheering from the sidelines, this event is guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and old-fashioned fun.
