Palmer Renaissance Painters, local artists who paint portraits and setting events

The Palmer Renaissance Painters will be painting a portrait at the Alaska State Fair at the Borealis Theater Tent on Thursday August 30 from 12-6.

These are experienced, local artists who paint monthly, by invitation, at the Palmer Downtown Deli.  They paint onsite and commemorate individual images.

Their medium is oil and watercolor.

Model Melissa Ehmann will sit for the carefully crafted pose which will include Alaska vegetables and bounty.

Barbara Hunt is the organizer and will be including some public opportunities to try one’s hand at painting while at the fair.
