Minecraft chests are appearing around the world, and rumor has it, THREE will be on the Alaska State Fair Fairgrounds on
Monday 9/1 – First Responders Day!!

What’s the Contest? 👀
All you need to do is starting 10am when the gates open for the Fair on Monday 9/1
1. Spot the Alaska State Fair Minecraft Boxes!*
2. Take a photo of the Alaska State Fair Minecraft Boxes and post your photo to your Instagram account with the Hashtag #AKFairMinecraft .
3. Bring the Minecraft box to the Media Center to claim your prize.
DEADLINE FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS IS 5PM on 9/1
There will be THREE WINNERS and will receive prizes as they turn in the Minecraft Boxes into the Media Center.

1st – 3500 Minecraft minecoins, Creeper Plush, Minecraft Untold stories,
2nd – 1500 Minecraft minecoins, Creeper Thow blanket
3rd – TNT Thow, Minecraft themed socks
The official hashtag of this contest is #AKFairMinecraft You must also follow and tag @officialalaskastatefair to qualify. You can only claim one box per person.
RULES ✏️
You must be either 18 years of age or older to participate on your own or if you are under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult at all times as your search for the Alaska State Fair Minecraft Boxes.
You must be present at the Fairgrounds on Monday 9/1 to participate BUT you do not have to be present to win. Only entries submitted on 9/1 will be accepted between 12noon and 5pm Alaska Time.
Only one box per person. If you win, you are responsible for picking up your prize prior to the end of the Fair and no later than 5pm on 9/1. The prizes will be available at the official Alaska State Fair office in the Marketing Department. Be prepared to show ID and your Instagram account on your smartphone to prove your identity. Only the winner or their parent or guardian is able to pick up the prize and must have verifiable proof of identity or relationship with the prize winner.
Alaska State Fair reserves the right to withhold the prize if in doubt about the validity of the identity of the claimant.
There are no further prizes available for this contest. Participants in this contest accept all responsibility for their own safety.
RESTRICTIONS ✋
Contestants will be instantly disqualified if they:
- Enter a restricted area of the Fair.
- Climb on any object at the Fair that is not meant to be climbed.
- Endanger themselves or others.
- Behave in a manner that is inappropriate for the Fair.
- Break any rule of the contest.
- Uses the contest as an excuse for behaving in any inappropriate manner.
- Alaska State Fair reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who cheats or otherwise tries to manipulate the contest parameters.
