Rebarchek Harvest Day Saturday October 10th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Come celebrate fall at the historic Rebarchek Farm on Saturday, October 10, with the gates opening at noon so you can explore, play and enjoy a taste of the season before the potato harvest begins at 1 p.m.
Bring a trowel, shovel or spade and get ready to dig! Families can fill a 10-pound mesh bag of potatoes to take home for just $5 per group. Potato digging will continue until 3 p.m. or until the potatoes are gone.
There’s plenty to see and do while you’re here. Take a wagon ride, see and pet small animals, play lawn games, enjoy fall refreshments and the Rebarchek popular potato soup, and explore the historic farmhouse, well house/sauna, barn and Food Forest.
Watch the Antique Power Club operate its unique historic equipment. Check out some special additions around the farm, including a new enclosed composting system installed by the Knik Tribe and the Mat-Su Master Gardeners’ beautiful garden area showcasing a variety of plants and gardening styles.
Come hungry, too! In addition to the traditional potato soup, enjoy a special potato side dish and take part in a celebration of all things potato.
Bring the family and enjoy a day of harvest, history and hands-on fun at the farm!
