The Alaska State Fair is excited to launch a new Ambassador Program designed to recognize and engage Fair supporters, community leaders, and Fair enthusiasts from across Alaska.

All Alaska residents are invited to apply for this unique opportunity to represent the Alaska State Fair throughout the year. Selected Ambassadors will be honored at the 2026 Fair Director’s Reception and will have opportunities to volunteer and represent the Fair at special events and community activities.

Application Deadline: July 1, 2026 at 4:30 PM

Interview Invitations Sent: July 7, 2026

Ambassador Interviews: July 14, 2026

Selected Ambassadors Announced: July 21, 2026

Ambassadors will receive:

• Alaska State Fair admission passes
• Parking privileges
• Cash prizes
• Exclusive Fair swag
• Special recognition and networking opportunities
• The chance to be part of Alaska State Fair history  

The Fair will select a total of four ambassadors, including:  

• Cultural Ambassador: male or female, age 18+
• Alaska State Fair Ambassador: male, age 21+ 
• Alaska State Fair Ambassador: female, age 21+
