At a Colt Starting Event:
Watch BJ take a 2-3 year old colt from rebellion to submission. As BJ spends time with the horse in the round pen He develops a relationship with the horse. The horse has the choice to submit to the trainer or trust his instincts to fight or flee. Learn as the horse goes from distrust to trust and eventually into total submission as BJ is riding.
At a Horsemanship Clinic:
There is one thing that all great horsemen have in common; they have the desire to get better with their horses. At a CR Horsemanship clinic we would like to help people discover how important it is that each individual body part of their horse is being used to its fullest potential.
At a Ranch Roping Clinic:
Ranch roping has played a significant role in the life of the everyday cowboy for many years. It has been a tool to make doctoring or catching cattle not only easy but convenient. Years ago I thought there were only two loops you could throw at a cow, one you would throw at the head and one you would throw at the heels. Over the years I have learned that there is a lot more to it than that. Learning from a lot of skilled cowboys I have been shown that ranch roping is all about angles and approach.
