Talented local artist Katie Sevigny created the art featured on several of our 2012 Fair souvenirs, including the 2012 Fair poster. Katie, who operates Sevigny Studio in downtown Anchorage and just opened a new gallery in Skagway, studied art at the Chicago Art Institute and the Academy of Art in Chicago before moving to Alaska in 1994. She and her husband, Craig, have three sons, Cooper, Rowan and 8-month-old Satchel. Between her three boys and a busy schedule, Katie says she tries to live her dream of being a successful artist (and in our opinion, she is definitely succeeding!).
