Love great beer? Then don\u2019t miss the Mighty Monster Boo Fest (aka Mighty Matanuska Brewfest) at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alaskastatefair.org\">Alaska State Fair<\/a>! The popular annual brewfest, now sanctioned by the Brewers Guild of Alaska and supported by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.classiccountry1009.com\">KAYO<\/a>, takes place Saturday, October 26 from 6 \u2013 10 p.m. at Raven Hall on the fairgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be plenty of brews and Halloween fun at this year\u2019s event, which will feature beers and brewers from the Mat-Su Valley, across Alaska and around the world. Among the featured local breweries are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AlaskanBrewingCo\/\">Alaskan Brewing Co.<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ARKOSEBEER\/\">Arkose Brewery<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Bearpaw-River-Brewing-Company-676175162493840\/\">Bearpaw River Brewing Company<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bleedingheartbrewery\/\">Bleeding Heart Brewery<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Denalibrewing\/\">Denali Brewing Co.<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GlacierBrewHouse\/\">Glacier BrewHouse<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Kassiks-Brewery-262512565555\/\">Kassik&#8217;s Brewery<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/girdwoodbrewingco\/\">Girdwood Brewing Company<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GakonaBrewingSupplyCompany\/\">Gakona Brewing Company<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kingstreetbrewing\/\">King Street Brewing Company<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Kenai-River-Brewing-Company-113718675606\/\">Kenai River Brewing Company<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.49statebrewing.com\">49th State Brewing<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/matanuskabrewingcompany.com\/\">Matanuska Brewing Company<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lastfrontierbrew.com\/\">The Last Frontier Brewing Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In celebration of Halloween weekend, there will be a new faster format for the costume contest with great prizes beginning at 8:45 p.m. Live music by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NervisRex\/\">Nervis Rex<\/a> starts at 7 p.m., and a silent auction and raffle with prizes is also on the agenda for the evening. There will be beer friendly food and will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are also available at Vagabond Blues, Three Bears, and Purple Moose Espresso. Each $35 ticket comes with 20 3-ounce beer samples. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10, and include non-alcoholic beverages. Convenience fees apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All attendees, including designated drivers, must be 21+ and show a valid ID.
