The United Way Mat-Su invites you to dance the night away at the Holiday Ball on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Raven Hall.
Dress in your finest and let the twinkling lights and beautiful holiday décor transport you to a Winter Wonderland.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, The Connection starts playing at 8:00 pm.
Bid on United Way Mat-Su's Silent Auction "It's In the Bag" stuffed with amazing prizes just in time for the holidays.
If you are single come to mingle; individual tickets are $50 per person,. Or if you're not, bring your mate(s), need a table for 8; table tickets are $350.
All tickets include coffee, tea, punch, and holiday hors d’oeuvres and the best entertainment an elf could wish for.
Raven Hall will be transformed into a magical, sparkling world with wine and beer to set your holiday mood in flight!

This will be a family-friendly event open to everyone in the community. Hobo Jim and Ken Peltier will co-host the event, which will feature Christmas-inspired music and special guests, including Santa Claus and his reindeer and elves!
We'll have refreshments, photo opportunities with our spectacular holiday lighting as a backdrop, buggy/sleigh rides around the fairgrounds(weather permitting), special children's activities and more.

The Matanuska Valley Sportsmen Club will be holding their 5th Annual Gun Show at Raven Hall, February 8 – 9 2014. The public is invited to attend the Gun Show; adult admission is $5 per person and children 12 and under are free with an accompanying adult.
The Matanuska Valley Sportsmen Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to firearms safety education as a public service and promotes the sport of shooting and hunting as a wholesome form of recreation. Fundraising proceeds go to further range development, maintenance and educational programs. The Palmer Lions Club will be holding their 47th Annual Gun Show at Raven Hall and the Hoskins building Saturday, March 8 and Sunday March 9, 2014. Everyone is invited to attend; admission price is $5 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
The Gun Show will be 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday; with free parking in the Orange Parking Lot behind Raven Hall. Drive in from the Red Gate and follow the cones to Raven Hall and the Palmer Lions parking attendant will assist you in parking your car.

The Palmer Lions Club is a non-profit club in the Mat-Su Valley; with a healthy goal of helping to provide vision screening for young children. The club members are well known for their hard work and hold different events in the valley while giving their time as volunteers for other organizations and events going on in the area. This years’ gun raffle proceeds will go to (3) local food banks.
Come to the Gun Show and support the Palmer Lions Club! Lots of fun for everyone! Visit the different gun vendors with over 300 display tables. Alaska Gun Collectors Association (AGCA) invites you to attend their spring Gun Show, April 19-20, at Raven Hall. The Gun Show will be held 10:00 A.M. – 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday; admission price is $7.00 for Adults and children 12 and under are free with accompanying adult.
Over the years, the Alaska Gun Collectors Association has accumulated the largest and most extensive collection of Alaska commemorative firearms in the world. This collection has been exhibited at the Annual Meetings of the NRA in various parts of the “lower 48”. AGCA Mission is to provide, encourage and support a direct and continuing means for collection, trade, sale and display of firearms and other associated items of historical and current interest.
AGCA offering “Free” Shuttle Bus Rides from the (south) Red Parking Lot to Raven Hall so, bring the family to enjoy the show. The Gun Show will have many different vendors with various gun collections to choose from; plan to stay a while and attend informative seminars regarding gun safety. Coming during lunch? Stop by the Concession Stand to see what is on the menu!
