36 Bistro – Ginger Cilantro Marinated Flank Steak with Yaki Soba Noodle

1 ½ # Flank Steak

Ginger Marinate recipe:

1 T Fresh ginger minced

2 T Shallots minced

1 oz fl. Rice vinegar

½ cup Olive oil

1 T Lime juice

1 T Soy sauce

1 T Sesame oil

½ cup Cilantro chopped

1 t S&P

 

Procedure:

Mix above ingredients, pour marinate over flank steak and refrigerate for 4 hours. Grill over medium heat, let meat rest 10 minutes before slicing. Mound sliced steak on yaki soba noodles.

 

Yaki Soba Noodle recipe:

1 # Yaki soba noodle

1 oz fl. Canola/Sesame oil 80/20 mix

2 oz Bok choy sliced

2 oz Shitake mushrooms sliced

2 oz Red bell peppers julienne 

2 oz Carrots julienne

1 cup Thin Teriyaki sauce

1 cup Vegetable stock

1 t Togarashi spice

Procedure:  Heat oil in pan, add noodles and caramelize each side. Add vegetable and lightly sauté. Deglaze with teriyaki and vegetable stock. Sprinkle with togarashi spice.
