Entertainers Announced for 2013 AT&T Concert Series

After a record-breaking year of concert ticket sales and attendance, we aim to set the bar even higher for the Alaska State Fair’s 2013 AT&T Concert Series. Check out the first five entertainers confirmed for the 2013 concert series – and then get your tickets! Tickets go on sale to the general public today, Friday, February 22.

Thursday, August 22: Foreigner. It “Feels Like the First Time” when one of the world’s most popular rock acts take the stage to perform their bluesy-pop hits like “Cold as Ice,” “Jukebox Hero” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” Buy tickets now!

Sunday, August 25: Bill Cosby. Described as a “national treasure with the unique ability to touch people’s hearts,” this legendary entertainer’s career has spanned five decades and virtually all media, from his stand-up act and best-selling books, to platinum records and hit movies. Buy tickets now!

Monday, August 26: Love and Theft. You’ll say “Amen” to this Academy of Country Music-nominated duo, with their mix of country melodies and sing-along choruses like those in “Angel Eyes,” “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “Girls Look Hot in Trucks.” Buy tickets now!

Friday, August 30: 3 Doors Down. These Mississippi-based rockers started “The Better Life” in 2000, when their #1 hit “Kryptonite” launched them into stardom. The group’s multi-platinum albums feature other hits like “Loser,” “Duck and Run,” “When I’m Gone” and “Let Me Go.” Buy tickets now!

Monday, September 2: Phillip Phillips. Fresh off his American Idol victory, this talented 21-year-old will showcase his rich, raspy vocals and masterful guitar skills in songs including his debut single “Home” and others off his first album, “The World from the Side of the Moon.” Buy tickets now!

Tickets are on sale NOW and there are three easy ways to buy:

  • Online at alaskastatefair.org and print at home. Convenience fees apply, and Fair admission is additional.
  • The free iPhone app from ETIX (download at the app store!). Please note that only “best available” seats are available through the ETIX app. Convenience fees apply, and Fair admission is additional.
  • The Kendall Toyota of Anchorage Borealis Box Office during the Fair. (Did we mention there are no convenience fees at the box office? Fair admission additional.)

As Fair admission is additional to all concert ticket prices, be sure to take advantage of money-saving offers, like:

  • Our 2013 season pass, which offers admission all 12 days of the Fair, as well as free parking (included with adult and senior passes only). Season passes must be ordered by Wednesday, July 31 at 4:30 p.m. for in-person purchases and 11:59 p.m. for online purchases. Passes will be mailed prior to the start of the Fair.
  • Admission six-pack, which can be used any day of the Fair and offers savings of up to $24!
