Parking and Exiting
Anchorage Traffic
Parking and exiting for Anchorage traffic is the same on weekends and weekdays:
Fairgoers heading north on the Glenn Highway should turn right onto Inner Springer Loop, then turn at the next left. They should then turn left onto Rebarchek Road, which leads to the Red Lot.
Fairgoers parked in the Red Lot will exit through the Red Lotexits. The north exit allows traffic to turn either north (toward Palmer) or south (toward Anchorage) onto the Glenn Highway. The south exit allows only southbound traffic. To ease traffic flow, certified flaggers will be on hand to provide controlled access to the highway.
Palmer/Wasilla Traffic
Please note that due to the replacement of the stop light with a stop sign at the Glenn-Parks interchange, all Wasilla traffic is encouraged to come to the Fair via the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.
Weekend Parking and Exiting
Fairgoers parked in the Red Lot will exit through North or South exits onto the Glenn Highway.
The North exit is only used on weekend afternoons and on nights when fireworks are scheduled. Certified flaggers will assist patron exits during those times.
Both the North and South exits from the Red Lot allow patrons to turn north (toward Palmer) or South (in the direction of Anchorage)
