For more than 50 years, two generations of the Sanders Family have entertained Alaskans with their trademark harmonies and acoustic sounds. Following the family band’s performance, Joey Fender and the 55’s will heat up the stage with a high-energy, sweat-drenched performance of original blues, rock-a-billy and old-school sound. The 81-year-old has performed professionally since 1946, when he formed the band Stanley Brothers and the Clinch Mountain Boys, which has become one of the most celebrated bluegrass groups in the world.
